May 11 is my best friend's birthday - can't ditch her then. But other than that this sounds great!

Looks like I can do it for about the same amount, just a little more, according to Travelocity. Looking at May 11-25th, or so.

Whoa. This would be sooooo incredibly cool, if we could work it out!!

Well, FedCon is May 6-8, so I'll be back from Bonn on the 9th or 10th - anytime after that should be okay.

Hmmm. Between May and August is when I was planning to go home to CA, but that would be more June/July, so . . .

Let me check the beginning of May?

Well, the semester is from April to the beginning of July - but I don't have many classes, so really, anytime between May (after FedCon on the first May weekend) and August would be good. I just have to know in advance so I can shift work around accordingly. Would that be okay? I know May seems far off - but March is busy with work, and April is my parents' big silver wedding anniversary and a last minute beach vacation with Sibylle. And I do want to be able to spend time with you, show you around and stuff...

Mom's are evil that way.

So. Um. When would work for you? I'm kind of completely open, since I've ended up out of school for the rest of the semester (long story) and . . .

I want to do this, if I can. I want to see you so much, and see more of Europe, and . . . yeah. Let me know? I think I can cash in on birthday and Christmas presents for a couple years to make it work, if I need to. ;)

Seriously? I just jumped up and squeed. And then my mom (of course) gave me the reality check - next month would mean that I'd have to leave you alone quite bit, because I have to work quite a bit, although I don't have uni until April 4. But oh, would I love to see you! *clings*

You know, if you did come to Basel one day, I'd be SO excited! It's probably about 800$ for a return flight, I'd say... (And I will be denying that I just surfed the net for flights. *g*)

It's easy to find. When you're facing the castle, looking up from the Royal Mile, it's all the way to the right, and I think closest monument to the moat.

Pictures of it (and the rest of my trip!) are <a href="http://www.livejournal.com/users/thuribrandybuck/93481.html" rel="nofollow">here</a>.

Wanna go with you! *pout*

How much are plane tickets to Basel?
